Herpes Rapid Test
Herpes test for IgM antibodies caused by the Herpes Virus. There are two types of Aatibodies: – IgM – produced within a couple of days, but disappears when active infection is away – IgA appears after 3-6 weeks and never goes away. In Herpes, 70 percent of the population has IgG antibodies, and never any active infection – before they get really sick from something else (like old age). So IgM is more sensible to test for.

Herpes Rapid Test is very accurate as it has an accuracy of 98 percent. This is assuming that you do the test approximately 3 weeks after the expected time of infection, and that you perform such test in accordance with the instruction provided.
Chlamydia Rapid Test
The Chlamydia Rapid Test detects if you are infected with Chlamydia trachomatis – the bacteria that causes the disease Chlamydia.
Chlamydia is one of the most common STD’s, especially among young adults. It is a rather insidious disease because the symptoms appear for only 20% of those infected. However, this does not make chlamydia any less dangerous. In some cases, it can result in infertility, if one waits too long before getting the right treatment. It is therefore very important to detect the infection on time using a secure and quality assured chlamydia test.

- The whole procedure behind a test kit for chlamydia is very simple and you get results within 15 minutes. The first thing to do is to drip a few drops of buffer solution A into the test tube, and it is important to do this before adding sample material.
- The next part consists of collecting sample material, and this procedure is a bit different for men and women:
– Men: Swipe the swab around the urethra opening, then rotate it for 5 seconds.
– Women: Simply insert the swab into the vagina, and then rub it around for a few seconds before removing it.Then you place the swab into the test tube with buffer solution A and soak and move it around for 10 second. - Insert Buffer solution B into the test tube
- Pour the of the test tube on the test area, and wait a few minutes for your result.
Gonorrhea Test
The Gonorrhea Rapid Test is very effective and give you readings within a short time – only minutes. The test detects if you are infected with the highly infectious bacterium Neisseria gonorrhoeae.
Gonorrhea might not be as common as chlamydia, yet it can be equally as dangerous. It frequently occurs among homosexual males, or heterosexual individuals who have unprotected sex with people outside of Europe. In most cases, gonorrhea causes clear symptoms for men, but more than a half of all infected women experience no symptoms at all.
A gonococcal infection might cause some serious complications, such as infertility or chronic pelvic inflammation, if not detected in time.

Gonorrhea Rapid Test is approved by the EU health authorities, but they also recommend that results would be interpreted together with an authorized health professional. It is important that a doctor would assess the full clinical picture of symptoms before confirming the final diagnosis.
Syphilis Rapid Test

It is important that people from risk groups test themselves regularly, as the disease does not always show any symptoms.
A significant proportion of those infected do not experience symptoms at all, and therefore it is important to detect and treat syphilis in time, before the infection causes serious and irreversible damage. However, if you have clear suspicion or clear symptoms of syphilis, you should immediately contact your doctor instead of taking the test.

Interpretation of test results
European directives authorize the use of rapid test for syphilis, but we also recommend you to discuss the result with licensed health care professional. A certain amount of time needs to pass before the level of antibodies against syphilis is high enough to be detected by a syphilis test. It has been estimated that a rapid test is 80 percent reliable after three weeks of infection and 100 percent reliable after three months. That is a general rule for both hospitals and rapid testing.
